Originally, this place was the ‘Koujimachi Official Residence’ of the Communications Department of the Japanese Governor-General’s Office. After the war, it was changed into the official residence of the director of the Department of Finance. Since 1972, K. T. Li has lived here. Until Mr. Li passed away in 2001, it was designated as a historic site by the government in 2003 and opened to the public in 2007. The furnishings and displays in the former residence are still as they were during the lifetimes of Mr. and Mrs. Li, just like in those years.
Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Saturday throughout the year, 10:00 – 16:00.Former Residence of K. T. Li
