Li Meishu (1902 – 1983 AD) is an artist who grew up in Sanxia Town. He once studied painting at the Tokyo Fine Arts School in Japan. Professor Li Meishu also served as a councilor to serve his hometown. He taught at art colleges, normal universities, and cultural universities. In 1947 AD, he presided over the reconstruction project of Sanxia Tsu Shih Temple. He holds multiple identities such as artist, educator, architect, and politician. The Li Meishu Memorial Hall displays many paintings, painting tools, sketches, and letters of Professor Li from different periods. It mainly features oil paintings. Not only are artworks presented to the public, but one can also better understand the state of mind of the painter when creating.
