Lin Family Garden

The Lin Benyuan Garden Residence is a vast complex, which can be divided into two distinct parts: the ‘Garden’ and the ‘Residence’.

The garden, also known as the ‘Banqiao Lin Family Garden’, encompasses the area outside the living quarters. It features numerous buildings and artificial landscapes, including the Qing Pavilion, the Yuebo Water Pavilion, and the Dingjing Hall.

An important tip for visitors: The Lin family mansion is still considered private property. During the red-letter period each day, visitors are led into the mansion by a guide.

If you wish to join the guided tour, please collect a guide certificate from the service desk and gather at the archway next to the three-section large house 10 minutes prior to the tour’s commencement. For other times, visitors are welcome to freely join the guided tour. In such cases, please assemble at the square pavilion as directed by the garden’s broadcast announcements.
