Longpan Park is a limestone terrace formed by uplifted coral reefs. Due to the dissolution of limestone, it features unique geological landscapes such as fissures and limestone caves, making it one of the four major scenic spots in Kenting National Park.
The park’s vast terrain overlooks the vast Pacific Ocean. Upon reaching the sea cliffs, the view expands, with greenery on one side, vast ocean views in front, green hills in the distance, and a clear blue sky dotted with white clouds overhead, all generously captured in one’s sight, making one marvel at the grandeur of nature.
Unaffected by light pollution, regardless of the season, on clear nights, one can witness the beautiful starry night sky here. From April to June each year, the Southern Cross can also be seen, making it a great spot for stargazers to watch stars and enjoy the moon.
Longpan Park is open all year round, with full-day access. Accessibility services: Accessible parking is available.
Important tips for visitors: Do not get too close to the cliffs during the visit, as it can be dangerous.
