Longshan Temple, also known as Manka Longshan Temple, is a renowned Buddhist temple in Taipei. The temple faces south and is designed in a three-section layout, consisting of the front hall, rear hall, eastern and western protective treasures, and the central main hall, forming a character of ‘return’. It features a bell and drum tower, with exquisitely carved doors, walls, and beams, especially the four bronze dragon pillars in the front hall, which are considered classics.

On the left and right sides of the temple’s courtyard, there are purification waterfalls and fountain pools. The main hall has golden pillars with circular spiral-shaped ceilings. The temple houses numerous deities, with the main deity being Guanyin. Every year from the 15th day of the first lunar month to the 19th day of the second lunar month, the temple holds a grand ceremony and lantern exhibition to celebrate the deity’s birthday.

The temple is open throughout the year from 09:30-11:00, 13:30-15:00, and 19:00-20:30.
