The main deity enshrined in Beixuan Palace is Xuantian God. The accompanying deities are Avalokitesvara Buddha. The origin of the sacred deities can be traced back to the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. At that time, when the ancestor surnamed Xu crossed from the mainland to Taiwan, he specially invited Xuantian God and Avalokitesvara Buddha to accompany and protect him. The ancestors settled in the famous Haifeng Port. Later, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the ancestors moved to the current Lunhou Village.
