The Memorial Hall of the Hangzhou Group of the Communist Party of China is located at No. 3, Fangguyuan, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City, with an exhibition area of about 850 square meters. It is the birthplace of the first local party organization in the province – the Hangzhou Group of the Communist Party of China. The entire memorial hall uses multimedia equipment such as sound, light, and electricity. Combining the advantages of Jiangnan dwellings and the characteristics of the party group, the design tone and shape grasp integrate the ‘Qiantang River tide’ and the rigor of the party group. The exhibition hall ‘Tide Rising in Qiantang’ combines the wooden grille of ‘Qiantang River water’ with glass display frames to create a magnificent scene. The central five-pointed star shape combined with the Hangzhou map creates a starry visual effect in space. The oval installation platform is equipped with a multimedia electronic reading book, echoing the static and dynamic of the wall panels. The exhibition hall ‘Sparks in Qiantang’ has the ‘Qiantang River water’ meandering to the top with hidden lighting to enhance the sense of spatial rhythm. The front wall of the exhibition hall uses artistic techniques to deduce the historical scene of No. 3, Pishi Lane back then, and wax figures of meeting attendees are set up so that visitors can understand the event more intuitively. Opening hours: From Tuesday to Saturday all year round, open from 09:00 to 11:30 and from 13:30 to 17:00; Closed all day on Monday and Sunday all year round.Closed on national legal holidays.
