Milk Cow’s Home is situated in the Liuying Township, within the Eighth Master Dairy Professional Area, and is a leisure farm primarily focused on integrating the dairy industry with cultural sightseeing. Originally known as the Battalion Commander Farm or the Eighth Master Station, visitors can learn about Taiwan’s dairy culture and taste freshly made, delicious dairy products here. The farm also features a nostalgic train carriage restaurant, animal area, and experiences for traditional play and arts.
Conveniently located next to the Taiwan Sugar Corporation’s五分车railway, visitors can take this train from Milk Cow’s Home (Eighth Master Station) to the Xinying Sugar Factory (Zhongxing Station), a journey that takes approximately thirty minutes. Along the way, passengers can enjoy the scenery of the farmland and the dairy professional area, as well as guided commentary from the train driver.
Taiwan Sugar Corporation’s五分车schedule and ticket prices are as follows: On weekdays, there is one train at 11:00 and 15:00; on holidays, trains run every hour from 9:30 to 17:00, with additional services provided as needed. Full fare is 100 NTD, half fare is 80 NTD, and preferential tickets are 70 NTD.
