Mingde Reservoir is a reservoir located in Mingde Village, Touwu Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan. Surrounded by mountains, the lake water is clear. There are also yachts for sightseeing. There are three small islands with their own characteristics: On Yuanyang Island, there are characteristic architectural pavilions; in Rixin Island, fruit trees are widely planted; on Haitang Island, there is the ancient Yongchun Palace temple. There is a suspension bridge leading to it. The scenery is beautiful. Near the reservoir, there are Mingde Elementary School, Mingde Police Station, Mingde Reservoir Management Office, Mingde Water Purification Plant, Teachers’ Hall, tea factory and Labor Recreation Center. Opening hours: open all year round from 00:00 to 23:59.
