Located in Mudan Township, Mudan Reservoir is a large-scale reservoir in Pingtung. Surrounded by layered mountains, the scenery is picturesque. Visitors to the reservoir can drive to the dam area and then walk to the top of the dam to enjoy the panoramic view of the reservoir. There is also an observation deck available for stopping and watching the flood discharge.
