Muzhai Jying Temple, also known as Shuangzhong Temple or Wenggong Temple, is a temple dedicated to the worship of the ‘Double Loyalty’. Located in Taipei City, it was established by the Zhang ancestors from Daping Township, Anxi County, Fujian Province, and is a branch of the Jying Temple from the same region in Quanzhou, Anxi County. Students from the local area often visit this temple to pray for academic success in exams. When students who have prayed here are admitted to their desired schools, the temple hosts a celebratory feast, commonly referred to as the ‘Top Scholar Banquet’.
