Nanhua Reservoir, situated to the east of Yushan Village, was completed in 1983. It currently serves as a primary source of public water supply for the Tainan and Kaohsiung areas, in addition to being a popular destination for tourism.
It’s particularly noteworthy that during the seasonal transition between spring and summer, the reservoir becomes a breathtaking spectacle. The area is blanketed with flowers, alive with the songs of birds, and permeated with the sweet scent of blossoms, offering a refreshing experience to visitors.
The reservoir is open to the public all day from Monday to Saturday, throughout the year. On Sundays, it remains accessible from 10:30 AM until midnight.
