The Maywe Culture Museum is a folk culture exhibition hall, where Maywe refers to the tender shoots and leaves of the hemp plant, traditionally used as a liver-cleansing and heat-reducing ingredient in rural households. The museum is designed to replicate the scenes of Nantun’s old streets and Sanheyuan (three-compartment courtyards) from the 1950s and 1960s, recreating the agricultural lifestyle of the grandparents’ generation. It also showcases a variety of handicrafts made from Maywe.

The museum is open all year round, from Saturday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
