The National History Museum is located in the botanical garden on Nanhai Road. It is a museum that mainly collects and displays Central Plains cultural relics in addition to the Taipei Palace Museum. The classical Chinese-style building with green tiles, white walls and red columns combines the styles of the Ming and Qing dynasties, elegant and magnificent. The museum houses nearly 50,000 pieces, mainly cultural relics relocated from the Henan Museum to Taiwan and ancient objects returned after the war in Japan. Including bronzes unearthed in Anyang; pre-Qin rope-pattern pottery unearthed in Luoyang; Tang tri-colored glazed pottery from the Six Dynasties, etc. Donations from government agencies and private collectors have enriched the exhibits of the museum. Opening hours: Closed all day on Mondays and Sundays throughout the year; Open from 10:00 to 18:00 from Tuesday to Saturday throughout the year.
