The National Palace Museum, in collaboration with the Paris Musée des Arts Décoratifs and Van Cleef & Arpels, will grandly present the special exhibition ‘The Great Beauty Speaks for Itself’ from September 26, 2024, to December 29, 2024, in Taipei, and then move to Chiayi from January 23, 2025, to April 20, 2025. The exhibition title is inspired by a famous saying from Zhuangzi, interpreting the beauty of nature and the beauty of the exhibited objects, which will bring visitors endless imagination and a self-evident experience.
This exhibition is jointly curated by the National Palace Museum, Paris Musée des Arts Décoratifs, and Van Cleef & Arpels, featuring over 260 treasures including ceramics, jade, home furnishings, porcelain, clothing, sculptures, graphic arts, jewelry, and timepieces, leading visitors on a journey through time and space, immersed in the world of decorative arts.
