The terrain is rich in variety, including coastal terraces, beaches, gravel beaches, reef shores, offshore islands, capes, and marine erosion platforms, marine erosion gullies, and marine erosion caves. The three landscapes of Shitiping, Sanxiantai, and Xiaoyeliou are the characteristics of the terrain structure of the east coast. Xiuguluan River and Rueisui are famous throughout Taiwan.
