The National Taiwan Museum of History – T.Y. Lin Hall is located opposite the February 28th Park, and its former identity was the Taipei Branch of the Japanese Industrial Bank. This bank primarily dealt with land reclamation, civil engineering, water conservancy, and agricultural financing, serving as a real estate bank and later transforming into a land bank. Today, this majestic building has been repurposed into a museum where you can view ancient typewriters, recorders, bank vaults, and silver ingots from the banking era. Additionally, a vast array of visual materials is available to understand the history of Taiwan.
Moreover, the museum features impressive displays of dinosaur skeletons and natural history exhibits, making it an ideal destination for families with children. The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:30 to 17:00.National Taiwan Museum of History – T.Y. Lin Hall
