Taiwan, situated at the junction of tropical and subtropical regions, boasts a multitude of towering mountains and diverse terrains and ecosystems, making it an ideal habitat for insects to thrive and survive, yet these creations of nature are seldom recognized by people. The New Jia Da Insect Museum provides an interactive space for visitors to engage with insect ecology. The museum is divided into several sections, including conservation insect models, butterfly columns, insect specimen exhibition areas, rainforest ecological zones, greenhouse gardens, and insect experience areas. The greenhouse garden features a unique circular design, decorated with common horticultural plants, and can host up to 25 different butterfly species as well as the necessary food plants for their larvae. The interior of the sphere is designed with a circular walkway, allowing visitors to stroll and experience the joy of dancing with butterflies up close, achieving the goal of edutainment. Opening hours are from Wednesday to Sunday, 09:30 to 17:20 all year round; closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except for public holidays. Concessions: Children under 3 years old enter for free; seniors over 70 years old enter for free.
