Caiyuan Dong’an Palace, located in Magong City, Penghu County, is a revered temple situated at the corner of Caiyuan Village. The temple is dedicated to the main deity, Lord Zhu. Its history dates back to the tenth year of the Guangxu period in the Qing Dynasty, when villagers from Caiyuan Community ventured to Zhuwang Temple in Shiquan to bring back a branch of the sacred fire, which led to the establishment of Dong’an Palace.
