Penghu Guanyin Pavilion, constructed during the 35th year of the Kangxi Emperor’s reign, is primarily dedicated to the worship of the Bodhisattva Guanyin. The temple was once destroyed in a war but was later rebuilt. The temple’s main structure spans a considerable area, featuring a pair of stone lions at the entrance and intricate relief carvings on the door panels, which are exceptionally exquisite. It is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
