Hailing Palace, the principal temple dedicated to Prince Su, is situated in Magong Nanjia and is colloquially known as Nanjia Palace. Its origins trace back to a divine association. As per the temple’s inscriptions, Prince Su was brought over from Jinmen during the 17th year of the Qing Dynasty’s Daoguang Emperor’s reign. Initially, he was taken home by the sworn brothers of the divine association on a rotating annual basis for worship.

Later, in the 3rd year of the Tongzhi Emperor’s reign, Hailing Palace was built. The temple underwent renovation in 1919. However, by 1971, with the increasing number of residential buildings around the temple, it was decided to rebuild Hailing Palace as a two-story structure.
