The tobacco factory has been reborn as a cultural base, with a 42,000 square meter park transformed into the Pingyan 1936 Cultural Base. Centered on cultural equity and citizen participation, it utilizes the tobacco factory, a highly representative industry in Pingdong, as a base for cultural fermentation. The base is expected to house the Pingdong Tobacco Museum, Pingdong Hakka Museum, art creation exhibitions, immersive experiences, and commercial resource development spaces. It is also planned to include a collection library, art gallery, and museum. Opening hours are from Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and from Friday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
