The Poplar Trail is a secret trail in Taroko National Park. From the trail entrance to the end point, Water Curtain Cave, in just 2.1 kilometers, there are seven caves. Countless small waterfalls inside the caves also become highlights of the trail. As it has reopened not long ago, it is a relatively recommended private scenic spot. The entire trail runs along a stream. In the front section, one encounters the Waiheer Creek, a tributary of the Liwu Creek. In the latter section, one sees the Tazhijili Creek, the upper reaches of the Liwu Creek. There are continuous magnificent views all the way. Those who love grandeur can enjoy the canyon and stream. Those who like subtle beauty can observe the mossy flow on the mountain wall. There are also large and small waterfalls in the tunnel, like raindrops and water curtains, pouring down in the darkness, which can satisfy unique minds.

Opening hours: Open all day throughout the year. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.

Must-see tips: As the trail passes through multiple caves, it is recommended to bring a flashlight for lighting and wear a raincoat.
