The Qianliao Prince Temple in Penghu is located on the southwest side of the settlement, facing south with its back to the north. It primarily worships Nezha Prince and is accompanied by the worship of God the Father.
It is said that the Third Prince followed the spirit medium Zhang Jintiao from Huang Chao’s home in Gaoxiong Qijin in 1949 to manifest in Qianliao. In 1954, the villagers began to sculpt the golden body of the Third Prince at home for worship and also opened it for people to worship.
In 1972, the believers discussed the construction of a temple, which was completed and dedicated in December 1977.
