Ruifeng Scenic Area is a picturesque destination located at the junction of Ruifeng and Bilu villages in Meishan Township, Chiayi County. This area is known for its comprehensive facilities, serene environment, and a strong sense of originality. The Ruifeng Grand Canyon is a natural wonder that rivals the Grand Canyon of the Central Cross-Island Highway. It is situated upstream of Qingshuixi and formed by the convergence of Qinglong and Yinfeng waterfalls into Qinglongtan. From there, the waters cascade down a 60-meter-wide canyon wall into Qingshuixi, creating a spectacular sight. The Qinglong Waterfall, with a length of 200 meters and a slope of 60 degrees, is a distinctive waterfall in the central and southern regions. Qinglongtan itself is a rectangular pond, 40 meters long and 5 meters deep, with clear waters that allow for boating, water play, and waterfall viewing.
Beyond the waterfalls, the scenic area boasts other attractions such as maple trees, the Youth Cliff, Weight Loss Cave, Pan Valley Stone Alley, and Rui Lake. These are all excellent places to visit and explore. The Ruifeng Scenic Area is open to visitors all year round from 8:00 to 18:00, making it a convenient and accessible destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
