The Xian Se Gong in Sanchong City is also known as the Wugu Wang Temple. According to temple records, it was established in the 20th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1755 AD). It has a history of more than 250 years and is the religious center of the people of Sanchong City. The main deity enshrined in Xian Se Gong is Emperor Shennong. Deities such as Baosheng Dadi, Jiutian Xuannu, Pangu Dadi, and Tai Shang Dao Zu are also worshipped. There are many ancient plaques from the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty hanging in the temple. There are clean guest rooms on both sides of the temple that can accommodate 350 pilgrims. Every year on the 26th day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, which is the birthday of Emperor Shennong, and on the 15th day of the seventh month, which is the Zhongyuan Festival, the temple will hold grand sacrificial activities. Opening hours: Open all year round from 6:00 to 21:00.
