Sand Island is located between Banana Bay and Eluanbi, with a beach approximately 220 meters long, named for its accumulation of fine sand resembling an island. It is primarily composed of shell fragments, coral debris, and foraminifera that have been deposited over the years. As there are no streams nearby carrying sand or impurities into the area, the content of shell sand is over 97%, making it the highest among all beaches in Kenting. This place boasts beautiful shell sand and is a paradise for photography, highly recommended for visitors. It is open to the public from 08:00 to 17:00 all year round.

Mandatory tips for visiting: 1. Sand Island has been designated as an ecological conservation area by Kenting National Park. Tourists must remember not to enter the fenced area of the conservation zone to avoid penalties. 2. The beach next to the conservation area is open to the public. Due to the abundance of rocks, visitors should be cautious to avoid cuts and injuries.
