Secret Passages of the Grand Hotel

The Grand Hotel features two secret passages, the West and the East, which have been opened to the public sequentially since 2019. The West passage leads to Jiantan Park, measuring 85 meters in length, and is equipped with 52 explosion-proof lights. The interior of the passage is winding and includes a 20-meter long slide for emergency evacuation purposes; adjacent to the slide, there are 74 steps leading to a cement-paved path that continues to the second metal door at the exit.
The East passage leads to the former residence of Miss Kong Er, spanning 67 meters with 84 steps. It is intentionally designed to be winding to evade pursuers and bullets that might travel in a straight line. In addition to reinforced concrete, the uneven walls are designed to enhance sound absorption, making it difficult for pursuers to locate the passage even if they are in pursuit. There are 43 explosion-proof lights installed inside the passage to prevent debris from causing secondary injuries in case of an explosion. The passage is open to the public from 10:00 to 15:30 all year round.
