The Shanlinxi Scenic Area is best visited from mid to late November when the dawn redwood trees are at their peak. The lush green forest contrasts with the layers of maple red and golden dawn redwood, creating a natural palette, akin to a painting formed by nature itself.
A newly constructed artificial landscape, ‘Ginkgo Lake’, features 130 ginkgo trees, some of which are a century old and have been carefully transplanted and nurtured to flourish. As the cold wind blows, the green leaves have begun to turn golden. Across from Ginkgo Lake, the slopes are planted with golden dawn redwoods and bald cypresses, forming a new scenic spot in the Shanlinxi forest.
