Shanxiu Palace, also known as Wenwu Saint Temple, is colloquially referred to as Confucius Temple, located at No. 1 Yongle Street, Dongli Neighborhood, Douliu City, Yunlin County. The front hall, Wusheng Hall, enshrines the Emperor Guan, while the rear hall, Dacheng Hall, enshrines the Supreme Sage Confucius. The main structure is quite majestic, with exquisite carvings, and is flanked by elegantly designed Dragon and Phoenix Bell and Drum towers.
Shanxiu Palace belongs to the Luantang system, which focuses on three major missions of the Luanmen: world salvation, relief, and preaching.
