Shell Beach is a beach located on the northeastern and northern coasts of Weizhou Island. The seawater here is clear, the sand is white and soft, and there are many shells. It is very suitable for walking and shell collecting. Shell Beach is very long and there are few tourists, so it retains the original ecological scenery and also attracts many tourists who like tranquility. From the sunrise coast in the due east of Weizhou Island, going north all the way to the Blue Bridge (namely Sinopec crude oil terminal) in the northwest of the island, this nearly six-kilometer-long beach all belongs to Shell Beach. There are multiple viewing sections with good beach quality and landscapes distributed here, including the beach near Su Niujiaokeng Village at the northeastern end, the beach in the area of Goumen Village in the east and the beach in the area of Niulanshan and so on. The shell beach in the east is a good place to watch the sunrise, while the area around the Blue Bridge in the northwest is suitable for watching the sunset.
Open all day throughout the year.
