The Shimen Reservoir is one of the main reservoirs in northern Taiwan. It is located in the Shimen Gorge between Daxi District, Longtan District, and Fuxing District of Taoyuan City and Guansi Town, Hsinchu County. It adopts an earth-rock embankment dam body and stores water by intercepting the Dahan River. It is Taiwan’s first multi-functional reservoir.
Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 17:00 all year round. The specific opening hours are subject to the actual situation of the scenic spot on the day.
