Shimen Mountain derives its name from its location on the west side of the Shimen Reservoir. The mountain features numerous branching trails with gentle slopes and is covered with lush forests on either side of the paths. Along the way, you can find acacia trees, tung trees, and a variety of ferns, with the air filled with the fragrance of phytoncide, making it an ideal place for family outings.
Ximen Mountain stands at an elevation of 550 meters, with unobstructed views due to the lack of surrounding barriers. At the summit, there is a large Guanyin statue. From the top, you can overlook the Dahan River and the mountains of Dashi Longtan, allowing you to appreciate the panoramic beauty from a high vantage point.
The mountain is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to daily operation status.
