ShouShan Zoo, though not expansive at around 13 hectares, boasts a rich variety of over a hundred species of animals. It houses the mighty African lions and black panthers, as well as the graceful Chilean flamingos, and of course, the long-nosed African elephants. The zoo is home to more than 1,300 animals, offering visitors an eye-opening experience.
In addition to its diverse animal collection, ShouShan Zoo also features a water park area, allowing both adults and children to enjoy themselves fully. During the hot summer days, it is always bustling with people coming to splash around, making it a suitable destination for families visiting Kaohsiung.
Opening Hours: The zoo is open all year round from Tuesday to Thursday, and Saturday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Accessibility services include accessible parking and entrances.
