The Sun Moon Lake cable car is a cable car system in Yuchi Township, Nantou County. It began operation on December 28, 2009. The route is from in front of the Sun Moon Lake Youth Activity Center to the Guanshan Tower of Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. It is about 1.877 kilometers in length and has only two stations. During the cable car ride, you can overlook the famous scenery of Sun Moon Lake and the Puli Basin.
Opening hours: Open from Monday to Friday all year round from 10:30 to 16:00; Open from Saturday to Sunday all year round from 10:00 to 16:30.
