The Confucius Temple is adjacent to the Martyrs’ Shrine. The main entrance is the Lingxing Gate. In front of the gate stand two white memorial archways, with a solemn atmosphere. Behind the gate is a semicircular pool. There is a Bishui Bridge on the pool. The roof is of the double-eaved hip-and-gable style, appearing solemn and majestic. The brackets, beams and columns are all decorated with Song Dynasty colored paintings, which is very elegant. Inside the hall, Confucius and his 72 disciples are enshrined for people to worship. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, 9:00 – 17:00.
