The Hai’an Palace is located in Zhongxi District, Tainan City. Its full name is Sanjiao Zhengang Hai’an Palace. The Chinese sea goddess Mazu is enshrined inside the temple. Mazu is a deity who blesses fishermen for safe voyages and bountiful harvests. On March 23rd of the lunar calendar every year, the temple holds grand celebration activities for the Mazu Cultural Festival. In addition to the Mazu temple, other deities such as Guan Gong and the City God are also enshrined in the temple. Opening hours: Open from 6:00 to 21:00 all year round.
