The Astronomical Science Education Hall utilizes various models to provide vivid and engaging explanations through text and images, as well as interactive experiences, to quickly familiarize visitors with the development of space exploration and gradually enhance their astronomical knowledge. It also introduces Taiwan’s current research achievements. The exhibition is divided into sections including: Prelude, Earth, Space Exploration, Sun-Earth-Moon, Solar System, Stellar World, Galaxy, Children’s Area, Galaxies, Universe, Exploration of Extraterrestrial Life, Astronomical Observation – Discovering the Secrets of Starlight, What are Gravitational Waves, and International Astronomical Research involving Taiwan.
Each exhibit offers an in-depth tour of the mysteries of the universe, allowing us to journey through the stars and appreciate the beauty of astronomy.
The Taipei Planetarium has meticulously planned a journey called ‘Space Adventure’, which will take you on a tour of the solar system, exploration of extraterrestrial worlds, and an immersive experience of the vastness of the cosmic sea. Along a track approximately 200 meters long, the ‘Space Adventure’ utilizes movies, lighting, and settings to create the magnificent scenery of outer space, transforming a limited space into an infinite surprise. Riding in a slow, enclosed carriage through this experience feels like piloting a spaceship soaring through the cosmos. This ten-minute journey will provide you with an unforgettable space adventure experience!
