In the 21st century, the development of technology has deeply influenced human lifestyles, thinking patterns and social structures. The rapid development of artificial intelligence with technological progress will fundamentally change the path of civilization development. Behind all these changes, there is a fascinating technological theory: Singularity. It redefines the boundaries of artistic creation, not only symbolizing the coming of a technological revolution, but also an opportunity to re-examine the symbiotic relationship between humans and technology. The trajectory of artistic creation is also reshaped in this process.
The 2024 annual exhibition ‘Future Media Art Festival – Singularity’ explores the evolution and social issues in the era of artificial intelligence, focusing on the development of AI and a new vision that the world is currently concerned about. It invites 23 groups of artists from 9 countries to exhibit 26 wonderful works. Through this exhibition, we can understand with the audience how our relationship with the world is redefined by technology. At this critical point, technology will no longer be just a tool, but a huge door leading to the future. Behind this door is a brand new future of symbiosis between humans and technological creation, full of unknowns, challenges and unlimited opportunities. Opening hours: October 4 – December 15.
