Taiping Mountain Forest Recreation Area is vast, encompassing various scenic spots such as Tutang, Renze, Zhongjian, Lantai, Bailing, Shangping, Taiping Mountain, Cui Feng Lake, San Die Waterfall, and Du Li Mountain. The area is well-planned with numerous recreational facilities including Jiu Zhi Ze Hot Spring (formerly Renze Hot Spring), Forest Park, Forest Bath Trail, Wildlife Protection Area, Cui Feng Lake, three forest bath sites, trampoline lanes, hot spring swimming pools, geothermal egg-cooking areas, and natural hot baths.
Within the Taiping Mountain National Forest Recreation Area, Renze, Taiping Mountain, and Cui Feng Lake are the three most well-planned areas, making them ideal for family outings. A visit to Taiping Mountain Forest Recreation Area is not complete without taking a trampoline car tour, which will guide you through the spirits of the mountains. In addition, the forest bath trail is designed with pavilions for visitors to stroll, rest, and relax. The Wildlife Protection Area on Du Li Mountain, stretching from Taiping Mountain to Du Li Mountain, is filled with virgin forests. There is a monkey observation deck to observe the ecology of various wild animals, as well as an observation platform where the views of the Pacific Turtle Mountain Island and Nanhu Mountain can be seen in their entirety.
