The Shanhai Tiema Road, formerly known as the Taitung City Circular Bike Path, is a cycling and sightseeing route with a total length of about 21 kilometers. The route covers many roads in Taitung City and also connects major and minor scenic spots in Taitung City. Cyclists can start from the Taitung Railway Art Village and pass along the old Taitung Railway Station, Liyushan Mountain, and the old railway corridor. Then, turn from the Beinan Grand Canal to the Water Conservancy Park, and then follow the Beinan River to reach Taitung Forest Park, Taitung Seaside Park to Taiping River and so on. The scenery along the way is charming and the views are rich.
