The Taiwan Folk Village showcases various human landscapes and folk customs of Taiwan over the past 300 years. It also combines themes such as folk customs, culture, education, amusement, and leisure. Moreover, it has transplanted and constructed early ancient cultural relics and commemorative buildings in Taiwan in an ‘authentic’ way from various places. The Taiwan Folk Village is divided into tourist service area, Yesterday’s Taiwan area, Today’s Taiwan area, natural education area, mountain forest historic area, time-space theater area, and leisure vacation area. The Taiwan Folk Village also plans and designs activities such as traditional folk games and living skills. It is a great place for leisure tourism. Opening hours: 9:00 – 17:00 on weekdays, 8:30 – 17:00 on legal holidays.
