The Taiwan Science Education Center is an exhibition hall with diverse scientific displays and many educational activities. The permanent exhibition areas include rich contents such as life science, physics, chemistry, mathematics and earth science. The special exhibition area conveys scientific knowledge in daily life through vivid and wonderful display methods. The Science Education Center also cooperates with museums at home and abroad from time to time to hold interesting science-related exhibitions.
In addition, there are dynamic 3D theaters, stereoscopic theaters, earthquake theaters, science libraries and fully equipped science laboratories, expanding people’s vision of applied science. Utilizing the three balance principles of lever principle, tumbler center of gravity principle, and tension principle, the five-story-high aerial bicycle is safe and exciting. Now put on safety equipment and ride on the bicycle to challenge! You can also try to shake the bicycle left and right to see if you can overcome the tumbler principle and successfully press the bicycle! [Application Principles of Aerial Bicycle] The interactive space bicycle is set up five floors above the ground and shows the principle of balance force. Adults and children can personally experience the principle of relative balance and center of gravity by riding the bicycle.The opening hours for the whole text are from Tuesday to Friday throughout the year, open from 09:00 to 17:00; on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, open from 09:00 to 18:00.
