Tianxiang Recreation Area is located at the confluence of Dasha Creek and Taosai Creek, a tributary of Liyu Creek. It is an open river terrace. Originally named Taibiduo, it is the ancestral land of the Atayal mountain tribes. Later, it was renamed in memory of Wen Tianxiang. It is a very popular scenic area along the Central Cross-Island Highway. Open all year round and open 24 hours a day.
