Tonglong Palace, a Taoist temple, is situated in Wanhua District, Taipei City, and primarily worships Wen Fu Qiansui. The temple was built on land donated by Ding Rongmei in 1961, and it features Southern Fujian temple architecture along Huan River South Road.
The story of the temple’s origin dates back to 1953 when Ding Rongmei, a resident of Shuangyuan, was cured of an eye disease after paying homage to Wen Fu Qiansui at Donglong Palace in Sanliao Bay, Tainan. In gratitude, in 1961, Donglong Palace was constructed to worship Wen Fu Qiansui, along with Li Fu Qiansui and Wu Fu Qiansui. The current iteration of the temple was rebuilt starting from 2008. Since it is the third Donglong Palace derived from Donggang Donglong Palace, it is also referred to as the Fourth Donglong Palace.
