The Wang’an Mazu Temple, located in Xi’an Village, Wang’an Township, is a prominent religious site that primarily enshrines Mazu, revered as the Heavenly Holy Mother. The temple underwent a significant reconstruction in 1992, which was overseen by Master Zhuang Shunjiu, a prominent figure from Dongwenli, Magong. The reconstruction process was a lengthy one, and it wasn’t until April 1997 that the temple was finally completed. To mark the completion, a series of celebratory activities were conducted, including traditional Taoist rituals.
