Wanli Tong, located on the western side of Hengchun, is a small village nestled between Shih-Zhu and Xun-Guangzui. The coastline stretches for about one kilometer and boasts an extensive intertidal zone due to the flat coral reefs of the rocky area.

The rich biodiversity of the intertidal zone, coupled with the pristine and beautiful underwater scenery, attracts a multitude of tourists for snorkeling. The best snorkeling spots allow visitors to explore unique geological landscapes such as stone caves, stone holes, and coral mounds, all covered with various types of corals: soft corals, stony corals, sea fans, and vibrant coral fish swimming among them, within 10 meters below the sea surface. The area has been designated as a marine ecological conservation area.

It is open all year round, accessible 24/7. Essential tips for visitors:

1. Make reservations in advance to avoid queues.

2. Be mindful of environmental protection during your visit and refrain from taking marine life back home.
