Shuihu Tongyuan, located in Guanaileng, Tainan, is an extremely famous scenic spot. The cliff here features natural gas and spring water flowing out simultaneously. When the natural gas is ignited, a spectacular phenomenon of water and fire coexisting occurs. In the past, locals, superstitious about it being ‘divine fire,’ would set up incense tables to worship beside it.
