Whale Cave is located on Xiaomen Island, the northern end of the Penghu Islands. It is a naturally formed rock cave. The island is scattered with peculiarly shaped basalt rocks, and Whale Cave is a large rock cave formed by sea erosion. It is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
