As spring and summer arrive, the east coast of Hualien, Taiwan is once again filled with a vast expanse of blue. At this time of year, it is the season for whale watching activities. Board a ship and search for whales and dolphins on the sea. Must-see tips:
1. Feeding whales and dolphins is strictly prohibited at sea.
2. It is recommended that you get sufficient sleep the night before going out to sea. Going out to sea on a ship full of energy is a good way to avoid seasickness.
3. Please arrive at the designated gathering place on time 30 minutes before the departure time.
4. Every friend taking the ship needs to carry a passport or other relevant identification documents for the Coast Guard to check.
5. Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited on board.
6. Patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, women in the early stages of pregnancy and those over 26 weeks pregnant are not allowed to take the ride.
7. Playing, running, chasing, and climbing the ship’s guardrail are prohibited on board. Please pay attention to safety when going up and down the stairs.
